This week, we want to share a deeply moving and very personal testimony from within our HomeJTK family — a story that reminds us that Jesus is still revealing Himself in powerful ways, even among those who come from very different backgrounds.
A Friend Who Loves to Help at HomeJTK
For the past year, Jaudad, a dear friend from a Muslim background, has been regularly helping here at Home of Jesus the King Church. He often comes to assist us as we prepare humanitarian distributions — carrying boxes, packing food bags, and helping families who arrive at our doors.
He is not officially a volunteer, but he is someone who loves to help. He says that whenever he steps into HomeJTK, he feels peace, warmth, and love. Over time, many of us have built a close and warm relationship with him. He has truly become part of our extended family.
A Sudden Battle with Cancer
A few weeks ago, everything changed suddenly. Doctors discovered that Jaudad has cancer, and the treatments have already weakened him greatly. In the video we’re sharing in this letter, you can see him walking slowly and painfully — a strong man now struggling to move after surgery and ongoing treatment.
But even in this difficult season, God was already working.
A Dream That Changed His Life
A few nights ago, Jesus appeared to Jaudad in a dream. In the dream, the Lord showed him the scene of the Last Supper and said to him:
“Place the Last Supper in the church…
Behold, I stand at the door and knock.”
These are the words of Revelation 3:20 — a call from Jesus to open one’s heart to Him. The Lord also instructed him to come to the church alone, without anyone helping him, even though his body is weak and in pain. And he obeyed.
With slow, determined steps, leaning on the wall for support, he came to HomeJTK to fulfill the dream. He insisted on placing the Last Supper scene, as well as the scripture from Revelation 3:20, as part of our Nativity display — a beautiful act of obedience from someone who received a visitation from Jesus.
A Door Opening in His Heart — and His Family’s
After this dream, something changed inside him. He asked Pastor Saleem and our team:
“Please come to my home and pray for me.”
Then his daughter — who lives in Haifa — reached out as well, asking us to come pray for her and her family. The Holy Spirit is clearly moving in this family in a precious and tender way.
Will You Pray with Us?
We ask you to join us in prayer for:
- Complete healing for Jaudad as he battles cancer
- Strength and peace during his treatments
- God’s wisdom and anointing as our team visits, prays, and shares the Good News
Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock.” And this week, we have witnessed that He is knocking on the heart of someone we never expected.
Thank you for standing with us as we extend the love of Jesus to every person He brings across our path.
With love and blessings,
Home of Jesus the King Church – Nazareth
