This past Shabbat we had a wonderful time together at HomeJTK as we celebrated the Lord with a night of worship. The church was packed, with believers and non-believers alike. We had asked our members to invite an unsaved friend, as we believe that the Lord inhabits the praises of His people, and that He would touch them while they’re there.
Our time together in the Lord’s presence was powerful, and many hearts were indeed touched by the Holy Spirit, so much so that at the end we had a number of people accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior, hallelujah! It truly was like experiencing heaven on earth!
During one of the clips you can see me blowing the shofar (ram’s horn) three times, and then asking people to release their prayers unto the Lord. I based this action on the scripture found in Nehemiah 4:19-20 that reads:
“Then I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “The work is extensive and spread out, and we are widely separated from each other along the wall. Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!”
Nehemiah 4:19-20
I invite you to pray your personal prayer as I sound the shofar in the video, standing in faith, that as for Nehemiah and his companions, the Lord will come through for you and answer your prayers. Amen!
