One of the greatest miracles taking place in our generation is something many people never expected to see: Jewish people from every corner of the world are returning to the land of Israel. The Bible foretold this long before the modern State of Israel existed, and today we have the privilege of witnessing God’s faithfulness with our own eyes.
Recently, our team had the joy of serving Bnei Menashe Jewish families who have made aliyah—the Hebrew word describing the return of Jewish people to their ancestral homeland. After generations of preserving their Jewish identity in northeastern India, these families have now begun a completely new life in Nof HaGalil.
For us, this is much more than a humanitarian project.
As followers of Yeshua, we believe that when God gathers His people, the Church has an opportunity to stand alongside His purposes. Scripture reminds us that those who have received spiritual blessings through Israel should gladly share their material blessings in return (Romans 15:27). Every act of kindness becomes a testimony that God’s love is real and that reconciliation is possible through the Messiah.
To help these families settle into their new homes, we recently distributed 100 hygiene and household care kits filled with everyday essentials. While simple in appearance, each kit communicates a heartfelt message: Welcome home. You are loved. You are not alone.
Each kit contains:
- 2 bottles of shampoo
- 2 bottles of shower gel
- 1 hand soap
- 1 pack of wet wipes
- 1 pack of toilet paper
- 1 pack of paper kitchen towels
- 1 pack of shaving razors
- 2 toothbrushes
- 1 tube of toothpaste
- 1 bed cover
- 1 loofah
Watching these families receive such practical gifts reminded me that the Gospel is not only proclaimed with words but also demonstrated through love. Every conversation, every smile, and every helping hand reflects the heart of Yeshua and creates opportunities for genuine relationships.
By God’s grace, we hope to prepare 300 more hygiene kits in the coming weeks. Each complete kit costs $54, allowing another family to begin this new chapter with dignity and encouragement.
