Welcoming Ukrainian Refugees
A Call to Unity and Compassion

The war in Ukraine continues to force countless families to leave behind everything they once knew—their homes, their communities, their livelihoods—in search of safety and stability. Among them are Jewish families who have made the courageous journey to Israel, clinging to the hope of a new beginning in the land of their ancestors. Here in Nof HaGalil, just a short distance from our church in Nazareth, we are witnessing firsthand the struggles and triumphs of these resilient people as they attempt to rebuild their lives in unfamiliar surroundings.

At Home of Jesus the King Church, our hearts are deeply moved by the increasing number of these families arriving at our humanitarian aid center. Each Friday, we see more and more Ukrainian refugees—parents carrying the weight of uncertainty on their shoulders, children with eyes wide with confusion yet filled with hope—coming to receive food baskets, warm clothing, and essential toiletries. For many, these basic necessities are a lifeline in the midst of their hardship. But beyond meeting physical needs, we are also witnessing something even more profound: relationships being formed, barriers being broken, and lives being touched by the boundless love of Jesus.

One of the most beautiful and unexpected blessings of this ministry is seeing these Jewish refugees experience not only practical support but also the unconditional love and compassion of Christ. In a place where they might have expected only temporary relief, they are instead finding lasting friendships, genuine care, and a community that embraces them as family. They are seeing Arabs and Jews working side by side, serving together with joy and humility, shattering the walls of division and history that have long stood between them. These moments are glimpses of God’s greater plan—of revival, of unity, and of healing in the land of Israel.

This is more than just a humanitarian effort; this is the heart of God in action. The Lord’s vision for Israel is one of restoration, of His people—Jew and Arab alike—walking together in faith, bound by His unshakable love. We firmly believe that as we pour into these precious families, we are part of something far greater than ourselves. God is orchestrating divine appointments, using acts of kindness to soften hearts, and planting seeds of faith that will bear fruit for generations to come.

We cannot do this alone. We want to extend an urgent invitation to all our dear friends and partners: join us in this mission of love. Your support—whether through fervent prayer, financial contributions, or donations of food and clothing—makes all the difference. Every meal provided, every warm blanket given, every word of encouragement shared is a tangible expression of Jesus’ love and a testimony of His faithfulness.

Now, more than ever, is the time to stand together. Let us be the hands and feet of Jesus in this critical hour. Let us be the light that pierces through the darkness of despair. May our love shine so brightly that it brings not only comfort and provision but also the ultimate hope found in Christ alone.

With hearts full of gratitude and faith, we press on, knowing that God is moving in ways beyond our understanding. May we continue to trust in His perfect plan and embrace the divine calling He has placed upon us. Thanks and God bless!
