Shalom from Nazareth!
I come to you today with news that fills my heart with joy. After a difficult season, I’m thrilled to share that the Christmas parade will take place on December 24th! What a blessing and an opportunity to bring light to our city during these challenging times.
This isn’t just any parade—it’s a chance to proclaim the love and hope of Jesus to more than 60,000 people. It’s a chance to remind the world that Christ is the center of Christmas, especially in His hometown of Nazareth.
When the parade was canceled due to the war, we didn’t lose hope. We immediately embraced Plan B, a beautiful plan to visit elderly homes, special-needs schools, and hospitals. We prepared gifts, scheduled visits, and committed ourselves to spreading joy in every way we could.
But now, by God’s grace, we have the chance to do both.
We will carry out the parade and fulfill our outreach mission. It won’t be easy—it’s double the work and double the cost—but we are stepping forward in faith, trusting that God will provide.
This is more than a celebration; it’s a calling. Christmas is about Jesus, the Savior of the world. It’s about sharing His love with those who need it most. The parade will allow us to reach the masses, while Plan B lets us minister personally to the vulnerable and forgotten.
We cannot let this moment pass. The war may have darkened hearts, but this is our chance to bring light, joy, and the hope of the gospel to both Arabs and Jews—united in the love of Christ.
