Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Psalm 122:6
Thank you so much for your prayers for the peace of Jerusalem during the recent escalation across the border of Gaza. These flare-ups across the border are always a terribly difficult time for civilians on both sides of the border, especially so for children and old people who have to run for shelter.
We thank God for the ceasefire that was declared a few days ago, bringing to an end the escalation that saw nearly 1000 rockets fired into Israel, with 96% of those on a trajectory to a populated area taken out by the Iron Dome Defense System. We thank God for His protection of His children, and that no matter what our situation is, we can always fully rely on Him for divine protection.
I’m especially grateful that the way is open again for flights in and out of Israel so that we can have our friends from the nations visit us here in Nazareth, and for us to visit them in the nations, and share about the wonderful things God is doing here in Israel. Amen!
