These are incredibly challenging times for the communities in northern Israel.
The ongoing conflict with Hezbollah has created a situation where both Arab and Jewish Israelis are living under the constant threat of violence. The anxiety of not knowing if your home will be safe tomorrow or if your loved ones will be protected weighs heavily on the hearts of many. It’s a level of fear and uncertainty that most of us can’t even begin to imagine.
At Home of Jesus the King Church, we feel a deep and urgent calling to respond to this crisis with the love and compassion of Jesus. We’ve partnered with the municipality of Kiryat Shmona to reach out to these affected families, who are struggling to get by. Imagine being forced out of your home with nothing but the clothes on your back, unable to work or provide for your family. This is the harsh reality for so many right now.
Our mission is simple but powerful:
to bring relief and hope to those in need. We’re working around the clock to deliver food baskets, toiletries, blankets, and other essential supplies to these families who have lost so much. But our work goes beyond just meeting their physical needs. We are committed to being a source of comfort and hope, sharing the love of Jesus with every person we encounter. In a time when it feels like everything is falling apart, we want these families to know that they are not alone – that there are people who care deeply about them.
